Annamerika Quintet

The quintet gathered around saxophone player Anna Keller plays a unique repertoire, which has its roots in Jazz, but has developed its own sound through new ideas and inspirations from various music styles, especially Rock and Blues music.
 
The band plays the music of Anna Keller and has worked on a program of original compositions and arrangements of songs from different genres since the beginning of their work together in 2016.
 
With Tomáš Lukáč (SK) on guitar, Urs Hager (DE) on piano, Miloš Čolović (RS) on double bass, Balázs Balogh (HU) on drums and Anna Keller (DE) on alto sax, the band is a colorful, international mix.

By adding a lot of creativity and musical sensitivity each of the musicians brings a personal note to the music. In combination with their experience, their style is very individual and interesting.

Annamerika’s music is spontaneous and refreshing, with different sound colors and a lot of groove.

​In June 2018 they released their debut album “Music from this world” with the Swiss label Unit Records.
